Armenian GM Melikset Khachiyan (USA) scored 6 points out of 9 and took the first prize at the 24th Metropolitan Tournament that was held in Los Angeles, armchess reported.

The same results had IMs Mackenzie Molner (USA) and Andranik Matikozian (Armenia) but they were behind Khachiyan by the tie-break.
