Bomb scare at airport in Chambery France

Passengers waiting to depart from the airport in Chambéry, in the French area of Haute-Savoy, could not do so due to abandoned luggage that was believed to have contained a bomb, RIA reports.

The awaiting passengers were evacuated to the landing field, while those who flights were arriving at the time, were forced to sit in their respective aircraft for over an hour.

Bomb disposal technicians found no explosives in the abandoned luggage and normal airport operations were restored.
