Kiev struggling to cope with heavy snowfalls

More than 10,000 people were employed in clearing roads on Monday in the Ukrainian capital.
Over the weekend the city was practically paralyzed due to heavy snowfalls. According to the press service of the Kiev administration, most of the city roads have been cleaned.
The city is still struggling to deal with the onslaught of bad weather. The army, police and rescue workers were recruited to wrest with the snow. Municipal transport is still only partially functioning.
