"Zhoghovurd": RPA intends to invite special session

Reliable sources in Armenia’s parliament informed the newspaper that the parliamentary majority, MPs from RPA, intend to initiate a special session.

The only issue on the agenda is expected to be the Feb. 18 presidential election in Armenia and the post-election processes. After discussing the issue, the parliamentary majority intends to issue a joint statement in behalf of Armenia’s parliament.

The RPA has prepared a draft and sent it to the other parliamentary groups for discussion and proposals. Talking to the newspaper, Hovhannes Sahakyan, Secretary of the RPA parliamentary group, confirmed the group’s intention and added that the idea should be discussed.
