Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan presented on Monday a new export-oriented strategy of industry development to the Armenian businessmen. 

Speaking on the extended meeting of the Armenian Union of Native Commodity Producers Sargsyan assured that new strategy will be implemented through cooperation of government and private sector.

In his turn Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan said that Armenia’s industry should be multi-branched but based on new technologies.

A new strategy supposes triple export growth (up to $3 billion) in nine years. 

In their response speeches local producers, mainly elderly men, presented ambitious and fantastic programs (up to getting fuel from oxygen) but mentioned no real reason why the programs are not implemented.
