"Zhoghovurd": Mikayelyan has asked for 3 days.

The newspaper writes, "Yesterday evening in Kotayk region`s Hrazdan city a unique meeting took place. "Zhoghovurd" daily was informed, that the representatives of Armenian National Congress (ANC) together with Hrazdan citizens (a few hundred people) gathered and discussed the upcoming election issue of the city mayor being held on February 25, 2012. The participants expressed their wish to nominate their own candidate in these elections and four versions of possible candidacy were discussed: ANM (Armenian National Movement) head of organization in Hrazdan, former political prisoner Aram Bareghamyan, Sasun Stepanyan from Hrazdan`s Dzrarat district, Hrazdan`s ANC office representative Mesrop Mesropyan and NA former MP, Hrazdan`s first city mayor Sasun Mikayelyan. After the serious discussion the participants came to the conclusion that just Sasun Mikayelyan should be nominated as a candidate. In his turn, Mikayelyan asked for 3 days for thinking and keeping the public informed about his decision. So, Hrazdan city mayor elections will really have an interesting course, as everybody is evident that Sasun Mikayelyan has no rival in this region, no matter who will be supported."
