State Revenue Committee will look into emergence of Azerbaijani garlic in Armenia’s market.

Reflecting on the information disseminated in the press that garlic from Azerbaijan is being sold in Armenia, the State Revenue Committee (SRC) issued a clarification.
“We hereby inform that 48,110 tons of garlic was imported to Armenia, in January-November 2011, from the following countries: China, Georgia, and Greece. With respect to the Azerbaijani garlic which appeared in the Armenian market, SRC is conducting a research into that fact, and it will additionally inform about the results,” SRC’s clarification specifically reads.
