Mika Bagdasarov's "term" expires

In April, the deadline for the license of "Armavia" expires. For a long time Mika Bagdasarov has been trying to get rid of debt-ridden company, but already there are no buyers. There were talks that the main cause of the problems of "Armavia" is Bagdasarov's greed and avarice. This person (people, who know him personally, say this) just loves to take without giving anything in return. This is the reason that his companies recorde only a regression.

During the debate in the National Assembly, the agreement "on air services between the Republic of Armenia and Kuwait" Samvel Farmanian said: "It is time that our government does not always take into account the interests of the national carrier, in particular, that the national carrier does not always take into account their interests, and probably it is time to consider the interests of our citizens of Armenia."

The President was able to purchase a similar arrangement at a meeting with the Emir of Kuwait. All the steps from Kuwait were made. The Emir, in his turn, is likely to make the necessary orders, which resulted in the visit of Kuwaiti businessmen to Armenia. Kuwait, one might say, has provided an ideal circumstances for our carrier. However, if the word of the President of Armenia was "law" for the Emir of Kuwait, the same can not be said about "Armavia". It was calculated that the Yerevan-Kuwait flight did not bring enough revenues, as a result of which mediation was of no avail.

It has been three weeks since Yerevan-Beirut flight is discontinued. "Aviation authorities of beirut want to implement an "audit" in Armavia", silmilar announcement was made today by the head of the Civil Aviation Artyom Movsisyan.

What this company can, so this is aeronautical complication of RA citizens to the outside world.

When the company «Fly Dubai» only appeared in Armenia, Yerevan-Dubai flight was quite cheap. It took some time, and the company was also likely to see that the "Armavia" for the same flight could sell tickets at a higher price, began to raise prices. One of my friends told me that the flight London- Prague is so cheap (only 10 euros), that many English fly to the Czech Republic at the weekend, because their beer price is higher, they get drunk well and come back. 

There are numerous cases where RA citizens travel to Tbilissi and from there go to any country, as it is cheaper. And the head of Civil Aviation has decided to take the role of a lawyer of "Armavia" and ruled that, in other countries, tickets can be cheaper.

In short, everybody is tired of this company. According to the owner's willingly to sell the company, it has also become a headache for him. So, in all probability, "Armavia" is over. But the question is, what will change from that? Will the tickets become cheaper, flights- increase, services- get better, planes- become better and safer? This is probably the most important question - what will the other airline give RA citizens?
