Russia is remembering victims of twin blasts that rocked two stations of the Moscow metro with a 40-minute interval on March 29th 2010.
The explosions, carried out by female suicide bombers, killed 40 people and injured 168.
Russia’s law enforcement agencies have made substantial progress investigating the attacks while the authorities have put up alarm buttons and other passenger safety equipment at nearly all metro stations.
Moscow residents bring flowers and light candles at the memorial plates with the names of those killed.
