15 killed in shelling of Damascus University

Syrian youth on Thursday night held a mass-scale action “against terror” in Damascus.
Crowds converged on the territory of the University campus near the architecture faculty cafeteria, which was earlier targeted by terrorists in a mortar attack that left 15 students killed. "Medics are still struggling to save another 29 young men and women," said Damascus University dean Amer Mardini.
"If the goal of this criminal action is to close down Damascus University, the militants should know they will not succeed. A citadel of science, that provided education to many generations of Syrians, it will continue to fulfill its educational mission," - said al-Mardini.
