Man goes on beer run after murdering parents
Society
Stephen Seddon pulled the trigger on his parents, killing them with a sawn-off shotgun, then hours later picked up a few beers at a store. The accusations against Seddon shouldn’t be surprising, as he had attempted to murder them a couple of months back, for life insurance money.
According to The Daily Mail , police claim that Seddon came into his parents, Patricia and Robert’s home and entered with a shotgun. Investigators have reason to believe Seddon tried to make the incident look like a murder suicide, so it seemed like his father killed his wife, before ending it for himself too.
Though, his father was shot in the neck at an angle which couldn’t have been self-inflicted. It’s believed that the third shotgun cartridge was meant for his disabled nephew Daniel, but fortunately he was not present in the house on the day the killer barged in.
After the shooting, CCTV caught Seddon purchasing beers at a store 150 miles from his original location, attempting to create an alibi. When questioned, Seddon denied the claim saying it was ‘ridiculous’ to think he would kill his own kin and ‘sick’ to think he wanted to get rid of his nephew. Regardless of his words, he is being charged with the murder of his parents, Patricia 68 and Robert 65.
