Delegates of the RA Ministry of Diaspora visited Akhaltskha.

On November 19, the delegation led by Advisor to the RA Minister of Diaspora Stepan Petrosyan visited the Armenian Youth Educational-Cultural Center in Akhaltskha.

Among the delegates were Head of the Division for Relations with Armenian Communities of the Caucasian Region of the Department for Armenian Communities of the CIS at the RA Ministry of Diaspora Taron Shagoyan and Director of the “Armenia-Diaspora Center” State Non-Commercial Organization David Shahbazyan.

During the meeting with the representatives of the Armenian Youth Educational-Cultural Center in Akhaltskha, as well as the principal and teachers of Armenian school N 3 in Vale and the head of “Rebirth of Akhaltskha” website, Advisor to the RA Minister of Diaspora S. Petrosyan presented the programs and activities of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and answered the attendees’ questions.

The ministry employees were introduced to the educational and cultural center’s activities and attended an instructional course on Armenian ethnographic dances.

The delegation of the RA Ministry of Diaspora donated RA state emblems, textbooks, cartoons, instructional CDs to the Armenian Youth Educational-Cultural Center in Akhaltskha, a computer, a printer and a photo camera to the Armenian school in Vale, as well as a photo camera to the “Rebirth of Akhaltskha” website.
