The newspaper writes, "Akhtala ore mining plant`s owner Serob Ter-Poghosyan has appealed to the appellate court against the verdict of Lori region`s general jurisdiction court for his 15-year imprisonment sentenced in pedophilia. We were informed about this by Ter-Poghosyan`s lawyer Givi Hovannisyan.

Ter-Poghosyan and his lawyer demand to reverse the verdict of Lori general jurisdiction court and to justify him completely. Hovannisyan said that their appeal proceedings are not still accepted. According to him, Ter-Poghosyan`s health condition is getting worse day by day. He suffers from intestinal intransitivity and needs a serious treatment. Ter-Poghosyan`s lawyers take measures to transfer him to civil hospital for treatment. In the coming days a medical conclusion is expected on the basis of which the penitentiary department of RA Ministry of Health with make his decision. According to RA Code, detained person can get treatment in civil hospital."
