Poles opposed to euro adoption
Աշխարհ
A poll conducted in Poland indicates a three-quarters approval of the country’s membership of the European Union, but a two-thirds opposition to adopting the euro, TASS reports.
The opponents say they fear price hikes and also warn the authorities that adopting the euro spells the end of an independent monetary policy.
Poland says it may adopt the euro in two years from now.
