In 2012, Armenian villagers will receive low-priced fertilizers.

The government has confirmed the program for government support to provide affordable azote fertilizers for farmers.
According to the program, the RA Ministry of Agriculture will obtain 25,000 tons of anomiac celitra and will allocate 1 billion drams to the supplier to sell them to farmers in Armenian provinces by April 10, 2012. In regard to this, the Prime Minister said this would mark the launch of preparations for the sowing in the spring. The villagers will have fertilizers on time and there will be higher indicators. "The issue is important in that we have 14 percent growth of agriculture and our goal is to keep that pace in 2012."
To note, this year nitric fertilizer’s market price had risen up to 10,000 drams (approx. $26) per sack in Armenia.
