"Real Madrid has triple our budget, but we are not inferior"

Galatasaray is not afraid of Real Madrid, or any other club for that matter. This is the opinion of the Turkish club's President, Ünal Aysal, ahead of the Champions League tie, despite having a lower annual budget than its rival.

"At this stage, all the sides are playing to eliminate each other but Galatasaray is not inferior to anybody. Real Madrid is very strong, with a budget three times bigger than ours, but we have some very big objectives of our own", Aysal said live on TV to CNNTürk.

"We won't be holding back, Galatasaray will go all out to win", said the President of the Turkish side that will face Real Madrid in the quarter-final tie in the Santiago Bernabéu next Wednesday, with the return on April 9th in Istanbul.

Aysal also said that the "Galatasaray brand" alone was enough to convince the last two big signings, Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder, to join the club.

According to some Turkish sources the Arsenal striker Gervinho could be the club's next target, and the Ivory Coast player could arrive at the end of the season.
