Dolce, Gabbana fined in tax evasion case

Famous Italian fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been found guilty of failing to pay around 1 billion euros in tax money.

An appeals court in Milan also slapped the two with a 343 million euro fine.

The founders of the legendary Dolce&Gabbana trademark have in the past few years been scrutinized by Italian tax and judicial authorities for alleged large-scale financial and tax report fraud.
