Rachmaninoff anniversary music fest in Moscow

As music lovers worldwide are marking the 140th birth anniversary of the great Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff, the Moscow Philharmonic Society plans two back-to-back concerts of Rachmaninoff’s music at the prestigious Tchaikovsky Concert Hall.
The star performer is pianist Denis Matsuyev – one of the most acclaimed younger generation Russian musicians and one of the very best performers of Rachmaninoff’s music around, TASS reported.
