"Hraparak": PAP members` number may exceed 1 million in 2012.

The newspaper writes, "On Dec. 22, at the palace of culture in Armavir, Armenia, Chairman of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Gagik Tsarukyan held a meeting with the party's active members. The PAP leader's visit was marked by admission of over 1,000 new members. Mr. Tsarukyan personally issued membership cards to some of the new members. Although the party does not report the number of PAP members, it should be noted that the party reported 370,000 members on the threshold of 2007 parliamentary elections. So next year this number may exceed 1,000,000. In fact, the party's only problem is that most of its members will not vote their "dear party" in the elections."
