Spraying of votes as a result of not creating a coalition

Leader of the "Christian folk revival" Sos Gimishian determines the current post-election situation in Armenia as complicated and confusing.

"The situation in our country is not encouraging. I do not expect anything good, God forbid, that I'm wrong", in an interview with Lurer.com Sos Gimishian said.

Referring to the upcoming May 5 municipal elections in Yerevan, Gimishian noted that the election could be important if between the opposition forces could manage to create together a broad coalition, and "do not spray votes."

"In the case of a broad coalition, the elections would turn not only the fight of city hall, city council seats, but also they would pursue a different objective, would unite society, would create a new wave of fighting and move a whole new level. Unfortunately, the field can not be combined, a broad coalition, in fact, has not been created," Gimishian said.
