Time to restart North Korean nuclear reactor unclear
World
How long it will take for North Korea to get their nuclear reactor going is still unclear, as their cooling tower had been blown up back in 2008. This action was done under the terms of agreement, to close the complex.
Still, the North’s uranium supply could be sufficient enough for weapons usage by the year 2016, if the Yongbyon complex uses just a single centrifuge for such uranium related purposes, as reported by the Institute for Science and International Security in 2012.
The complex is planned to be used for military purposes and for electricity.
