On 5 May 2013 municipal elections will be held in Yerevan. Political forces will take part in municipal elections in Yerevan under the following slogans: "The power - the citizens"-ANC, "Let's start with Yerevan", "Change Armenia" - PAP, "Yerevan, change Armenia" - ARF "Dashnaktsutyun", "Hello, Yerevan "-"Heritage"," Still the best Yerevan "- RPA. Party "Rule of Law" still reflects on his slogan.
Lurer.com spoke with a deputy from "Prosperous Armenia" Party (PAP), PAP spokesman Tigran Urihanyanom to find out whether the PAP would take seats if the election were rigged.
Urikhanian snoted that, as previously Naira Zohrabyan said, PAP will not accept the election results if they would once again be rigged.
"None of the mandate does not an end in itself. If there will be attempt to rig the elections once again, of course, PAP will not accept the election results, we will not mandate illegally elected city government. But I'm sure we'll break town monopoly and be victorious," Zohrabyan said earlier.
"Now we should not say that the elections might be rigged. It is not necessary to configure the society that the elections will be unfair. We will do everything to ensure that elections are conducted in a fair, transparent way and that no one is trying to screw up, distort their natural course. We will fight and demand that those responsible work as it should be, and controll the situation. We will make every effort to reduce the possibility of fraud and violations ", MP from PAP said.
"We go to these elections, to gain the vote of voters respectively to take our rightful place. We must also ensure civic participation. But if it was suddenly found out that the elections were a shameful fraud and didnot correspond to reality, in this case we will take the necessary measures," Urikhanian summed.
