Tom Cruise and Olga Kurylenko come to Moscow ahead of “Oblivion” release

On Monday 50-year-old movie star Tom Cruise and 33-year-old actress Olga Kurylenko pose for photographs at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Moscow yesterday to promote the new sci-fi adventure film “Oblivion”, the world premier of which is scheduled for April 10.
The actors came to Russia from South America where they were promoting the film last week.
At the press conference the actor said the genre of science fiction was his favorite. He said sci-fi films were epic films that allow people to have a look into a new world. According to Cruise, sci-fi films are a good alternative for westerns.
“Oblivion” is based on the graphic novel by Joseph Kosinski.
Cruise plays the role of Commander Jack Harper, while Kurylenko plays his love interest Julia Rusakova, Firstnews.ru reported.
