Fans have selected Mkhitaryan

For several days, Shakhtar's website audience took part in the vote for Shakhtar’s best player in March. Now the time is ripe to sum it up.

So, a total of 1,316 fans took part in the vote. You can view the list of Shakhtar’s top five players in March - according to the supporters - below. We want to note that the top 5 list is concluded by Dmytro Hrechyshkin, who has recently won his first Ukraine national football team cap, being just a few votes behind the defender Yaroslav Rakitskiy.

And now come the top three players. The captain of Shakhtar Darijo Srna was supported by 80 (6.08%) of the website readers. The Brazilian Fernandinho enjoys a significant breakaway with 410 (31.16%) votes. But the admirers of Henrikh Mkhitaryan turned out to be the most active voters, having secured the player’s top spot with 478 (36.32%) votes.

This is only the first part of the traditional player of the month scheme. Now we are going to interview ten veterans of Shakhtar and the same number of sports journalists. After that, the winner will be decided!
