"Chorord Inknishkhanutyun": Mahmoud Ahmadinejad left Hranush Hakobyan`s hand in the air.

The newspaper writes, "Yesterday during the official visit of the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Armenia a rather remarkable incident took place. When the President by turn approached the members of Armenian delegation and greeted them with hand, the latter left the hand of RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan in the air. The point is that in Muslim countries it is not accepted to greet women with hand, and women do not stretch their hand to greet men. In such case they use only slight head movement as a sign of welcoming. However, as it is seen, the Armenian delegation members seemed either not to be aware of this procedure, or did not care about it as a result of which Mrs. Hakobyan`s hand stretched to Ahmadinejad was left in the air."
