Yerevan city council confirmed $167 million budget for 2012 year.

Yerevan city council confirmed the city’s budget for 2012.

The budget expenditures are AMD 63.77 billion, while incomes are AMD 63.7 billion, thus, the deficit is AMD 50 million.

Head of Yerevan city hall’s financial department Vahe Nikoyan explained that 31.8 percent of the budget is intended for social projects, 11 percent for environment, and 32.4 percent will be spend on transportation.
