Car crash in Aragatsotn region of Armenia - 1 died, 2 injured.

The details of the road accident, which occurred Saturday on Armenia’s Aparan-Spitak Highway, are identified. As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan had informed LURER.com earlier, on Dec. 24 a road accident occurred on Aparan-Spitak Highway of Armenia`s Aragatsotn region.
A Ford truck and a GAZ 66-model truck crashed into one another because of the icy road. The Ford truck’s passenger, Georgian citizen Kakha Kotselava, 35, was taken to Aparan city hospital. Also, the firefighting-rescue squad removed the dead body of the truck’s driver, Georgian citizen Shalva Gurali, 41, and handed it to the emergency medical unit. Kotselava is in average-severe health condition. The GAZ 66-model truck belongs to Aparan Cheese Factory, and its driver is Ashot Avagyan, 49, who was also transferred to Aparan city hospital.
