Big car accident in Gegharkunik region of Armenia -1 dead, 6 injured.

A big car accident occurred in Armenian Gegharkunik region’s Yerevan-Martuni road on Dec. 24. about 17:30p.m. As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed LURER.com,  VAZ 2121-72 ԼՈ 777, VAZ 21015-18OS 294 cars and a Gazelle truck-05 LS 341 crashed each other.

As a result of the accident Gazelle car came out of the drivable zone, hit trees and fell into the gorge. The help of rescuers was needed and one rescue unit went to the scene. As a result of the accident the passenger of VAZ-21015 Sona Chatoyan, 37, died on the spot. VAZ-2121 car`s driver Sargis Kazaryan,40, and passengers - Levon Papazyan, 36, Vardan Ordakyan, 39, as well as VAZ-21015 car`s driver Hayk Hovannisyan, Gor Hovannisyan, 17, and Gazelle driver Gagik Kazaryan were taken to Gavar city hospital.

The investigation is underway.
