New York fast food workers protest wages

Fast food restaurants workers in New York have launched protests demanding higher wages with at least 400 employees of fast food establishments taking to the streets.
Employees of McDonald's, Burger King and many others restaurants are taking part in the protests.
Protesters are demanding an increase in the minimum wage and that it be almost doubled to $15 per hour.
According to the organizers the event was the largest of its kind in history.
