Possible dengue epidemic in Brazil

More than 635,000 cases of Dengue Fever were registered in Brazil during the first three months of this year, with doctors warning about the beginning of an epidemic.

According to the Ministry of Health, the disease has already killied 108 people.

The registered number of cases of the diseases, in comparison with the same period last year, is up by almost 380%.
Over the entire past year 102 people died from the disease.

The most number of cases are in the states of Minas Gerais, Goias, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
