Murder attempt at Armenia’s Ashtarak city.

There was a murder attempt, in Armenia’s Ashtarak city on Sunday, and three people were hospitalized as a result, Police Force Ashtarak Precinct Chief Artur Aristakesyan informed.

The Precinct had received a call from the city’s medical center that Gagik, Hrant, and Lida Shaboyan were transferred to the center, with injuries.

As per Aristakesyan, someone had attacked Gagik Shaboyan from behind, when he was entering his home, and struck blows. And when his relatives had come to his aid, shots were fired in their direction, and consequently two people received gunshot wounds.  

Artur Aristakesyan also informed that the Shaboyan family is in the gold trade business. 

The attacker fled, and investigation is underway.

Also, a criminal case is launched.

Artur Aristakesyan also told that the injured are in stable condition.
