Reporting meeting in Armenia’s Defense Ministry

Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan attended on Thursday a reporting meeting together with the chief of the Armed Forces’ General Headquarters’, Yuri Khachaturov.

The participants heard Stepan Galstyan, a deputy head of the General Headquarters, who introduced his findings on the armament modernization problems in military units dealing with aircraft and anti-air defense, and radio-electronic fight, the training and professional development opportunities for the officers’ corps, as well as the completed construction activities. To enhance the effectiveness of future work, the minister issued instructions at the end of the meeting. He told the participants about plans for reconstructing and re-equipping squares in all the military units.
