The identity of a young man who jumped from Kievyan bridge yesterday was clarified. He was Hrant Barseghyan, 16.

Today, on Dec. 26, Yerevan`s Mashtots police operative-investigative group clarified the identity of a young man who committed suicide on Dec. 25. He was Hrant Barseghyan, 16, resident of Arabkir district. As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan had informed LURER.com earlier, at about 19:00pm the police received a call that a young man had jumped from Kievyan bridge and the help of rescuers was needed.

The police operative group together with forensic doctor arrived on the scene. The corpse was taken out of water. The police was implementing works to identify the personality of the victim.

The investigation is underway.
