Woman saved in Indian building collapse

On Saturday Indian rescuers managed to save a woman who had spent 36 hours under a collapsed building in the city of Thane in Maharashtra State.
On hearing her shouting they determined her whereabouts with the help of a special device. Doctors say that now her life is out of danger.
According to the latest data, 72 people were killed and 36 were injured in the accident. The authorities do not rule out that some people still remain under the ruins.
The accident occurred on Thursday night. A partially constructed 7-storey building in which 35 families already lived suddenly collapsed. Law enforcement authorities have started criminal proceedings over people’s deaths.
