China calls for peace between two Koreas

China insists that the two Koreas should start a dialogue to prevent a war between them. This is what China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi said in a phone talk with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

“China is against any provocative statements or actions from either of the both Koreas,” Mr. Wang said. “China will try not to allow any aggravation of the situation in its neighborhood.”

On Friday, North Korea warned foreign diplomats that it will not be able to guarantee their security after April 10, when it is going to launch a missile at South Korea.

The flying range of this missile is 3,000 kms.

North Korea is going to launch it in response to the joint military maneuvers that the US and South Korea are holding at the sea near the Korean Peninsula.
