Nicole Kidman and Vince Vaughn to join cameo stars in Anchorman 2

Nicole Kidman is set to make a cameo appearance in the Anchorman sequel.

The A-List actress has reportedly been filming for a "secret" showing in the follow-up to the cult comedy classic.

And Vince Vaughn is also set to star briefly in the film.

The duo join a host of big names who will show their faces in Anchorman: The Legend Continues.

Harrison Ford, Greg Kinnear and Kristen Wiig will also apparently be making appearances alongside members of the original cast.

The first movie was released in 2004 and has since attracted a cult following.

And the sequel looks set to live up to the reputation of Will Ferrell's first outing as Ron Burgundy if the early signs are anything to go by.

Director Adam McKay has revealed teasingly that The Legend Continues might be centred around a custody battle involving one of the main cast members.

But fans of the comedy will have to hold out until December, when the film is released, to see for themselves.
