Course dedicated to Hugo Chavez founded in Havana

The first course of study in Cuba dedicated to the study of the "work and heritage" of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who died in March has been created at the Faculty of Arts at the Pedagogical University named after Enrique Jose Varona in Havana.
As stated by the university’s rector, Daisy Fraga, Chavez "transformed and enriched the revolutionary thinking which finds a growing number of supporters in Latin America."
Hugo Chavez passed away in Caracas on March 5 after a long battle with cancer which was discovered in his 2011.
Prior to his tragic death he underwent four series of treatments in Havana.
