Niger terrorists kill up to 50 police officers

Terrorists attacked a police boat in the Niger Delta killing at least 12 police officers according to the authorities in Nigeria.
Preliminary reports say everyone on the boat was killed with Reuters reporting that 50 policemen were traveling on the boat to a funeral.

It is known that the attack was carried when the boat’s motor stalled.

On Thursday, the Movement for the Independence of the Niger Delta threatened to resume attacks after a South African court sentenced one of their leaders to 24 years in prison.
