20 killed in Nigeria bus crash

A bus overloaded with passengers crashed into a stationary truck in the north of Nigeria on Monday killing 20 passengers.
Police say the bus driver ran into a truck parked by a road at full speed near the city of Kano.

According to reports, the bus driver didn’t notice the truck as he was trying to speed up to make it to the place of destination before a dusk-to-dawn curfew that was imposed by the authorities in connection with frequent attacks by Boko Haram extremists.
