One of the injured hit by a truck died in hospital.

As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan had informed LURER.com earlier, today, on Dec. 28, at about 07:30, a run over occurred in Yerevan`s Bagratunyats street. A "MAZ" truck driver hit 2 people, who were taken to hospital with body injuries.

Minutes ago the journalist informed that the injured being taken to hospital were Yerevan`s Chekhov street`s residents Hambardzum Samsonyan, 81, and Olga Harutyunyan, 74, the latter of which died in hospital`s intensive care department. The driver was Noragavit resident Matevos Buniatyan, 62, who hadn`t escaped from the scene and helped to take the injured to hospital. A criminal case is launched.

The investigation is underway.
