Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan congratulated representatives of country`s business community for coming holidays.

Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan organized Wednesday a Christmas and New Year reception for representatives of the country’s business community. 

In his congratulatory address to the invitees, the President also reflected on the passing year and noted that it was full of important events. “This year the world, and especially Europe, faced great economic and financial complexities; and these difficulties are not yet surmounted. In all likelihood, these additional difficulties will follow us next year, too. But it is a fact that, all this notwithstanding, in 2011 Armenia was on the road to economic growth, and, what’s specifically pleasing, is that we had a substantial growth in industry and agriculture,” President Sargsyan stated.         

He also stressed that much greater results can be achieved in cooperation with the business community. “The passing year was important for us. It is amazing that the more complicated the environment becomes, our businessmen come up with that much more initiatives. I personally know about the new plans and ideas of many of you, and I wish success in their implementation,” President Serzh Sargsyan said.
