Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army conscript Gevorg Yeghiazaryan, 19, received a gunshot wound, from the bullet fired by the adversary, at a position located at the northeasterly (Martakert) defense direction of the line of contact of the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, NKR Defense Army Press Service informed.

The conscript was immediately taken to military hospital. An investigation is underway. 

The soldier was wounded while on duty at the military base. He received injuries to his neck and mouth.
