Russia sends humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees

Russia is sending humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees in Lebanon and Jordan.
According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry, EMERCOM, an Il-76 transport plane is due to take off for Beirut at 10 a.m. Moscow time today.
The plane will deliver almost 27 tons of humanitarian aid to Lebanon. Another plane is due to leave for Jordan’s capital Amman on Thursday, April 11th.
Last week, Russian EMERCOM planes delivered humanitarian aid to Jordan and Lebanon for Syrian refugees, namely foodstuffs and other prime necessities.
