The 2011 was hard but a good year for the IT sphere, general manager of VivaCell-MTS Ralf Yirikyan told today after the reception organized at the Armenia's President`s residence. He expressed hope that next year better results will be registered.

"Business world must become more active. More active the business environment is, the stronger is the state," Yirikyan said.

According to him, the reforms in the 2011 create enough basis for the development of economy in the coming year, in respect of the development of IT.

Executive director of "Synopsis Armenia" company Hovik Musayelyan said 2011 was intensive year for the sphere and the registered figures show the significance of the field. "The events taking place in Armenia show that the country is becoming leader of the sphere in the region," he said. Hovik Musayelyan also stressed that the 2012 will also be intensive for the sphere.
