Today Armenia's National Assembly continued to discuss the report "The activities of the Ombudsman and the violations of basic rights and fundamental freedoms in 2011."

Secretary of the "Heritage" party Zaruhi Postanjyan delivered a speech. She appealed to yesterday's events on Baghramyan Avenue.

"Yesterday, we, the citizens of the Republic of Armenia, broke all ties with the illegal authorities, we announced that we would not recognize the false leaders, announced that we would not obey the laws of false and illegal orders. We do not fear, we'll not back down and we are not for sale", Postanjyan said.

Postanjyan also noted that yesterday on Baghramyan Avenue police used force against the marchers. "We condemn these actions. You can only congratulate us, that there were no victims. Serzh Sargsyan, being in the presidential residence, ordered to use force against us", Postanjyan concluded.
