Serzh Sargsyan receives the Chief of Staff of the RF Presidential Administration Serfei Ivanov

President Serzh Sargsyan received today the Chief of Staff of the RF Presidential Administration Sergei Ivanov who has arrived to Armenia to participate at the ceremony of inauguration of the President of Armenia.

The President said he was glad to welcome the high guest and his delegation from the Russian Federation in our country. At the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the high level of the Armenian-Russian political dialogue and underscored that strategic allied relations between the two countries develop successfully in every area. In strengthening and deepening these relations, President Serzh Sargsyan stressed personal input of Sergei Ivanov.

On behalf of the Russian delegation, Sergei Ivanov once again congratulated and wished success to President Serzh Sargsyan in the next five years of his tenure in office and expressed confidence that the choice of the Armenian people will further enhance empowerment of Armenia, greater prosperity of the people, preservation and development of the steadfast and strong Armenian-Russian relations.

The President of Armenia and the Chief of Staff of the RF Presidential Administration discussed issues related to the cooperation in a number of areas and ongoing programs.
