Symbols of Parliament- Shmays, Navo ...
Analytical
It turns out that Shmays, Navo and their peers are symbols of Parliament. Lyovik from Artsakh (Levon Sargsyan), Sashik were also symbols. We just somehow had no idea about that, because when the symbol appeared on the horizon, just no one stood up and welcomed as it should be. Fortunately, we should hope that there will not be such an error no longer, because thanks to the Human Rights Defender Karen Andreasyan gap and ignorance were corrected. Today in Armenian Parliament Ombudsman enlightened anyone passing judgment on symbols the reports.
As you know, Karen Andreasyan could not come to Parliament for a long time and report on his work. Ombudsman even publicly expressed his outrage that his rights were violated.
Ombudsman's reports are still taken by public bodies with strong attacks. Especially the review the judicial department Ombudsman praised as "shameful." What caused this attack? Former Ombudsmen were also criticized, but in case of Andreasyan organized attacks left a little different impression.
-Mr. Andreasyan, you seem to be ruthlessly criticized, earlier you confirmed this yourself. You were considered Mikael Minasyan's personnel. Are these attacks somehow connected with this fact?
-I have never considered myself someone's personnel, I never have been and will never be. I consider myself an expert, who works in a specific field and performs specific functions.
-So why are you implicated in these attacks?
-The fact is that when you tell the truth, that truth is not always pleasant.
-I recently heard your speech. You once said softly, as if trying to justify himself to the deputies, asked for forgiveness, praising them ... Do you think that you know well our legislators?
-I can say one thing. Since people are starting to wear uniforms and insignia, they are no longer just people for me. I treat them just as carriers of these straps. I think as long as we do not respect the person and his epaulets, we will not have a state. For me, the deputies are not people, they are symbols. Everyone is a character in our parliament, I treat them as symbols.
