Brazil cannot meet FIFA deadline for 2014 World Cup stadiums

Brazil will not be able to build all the stadiums for the 2014 World Cup by FIFA deadline. Of the six arenas only three are currently ready; one more is scheduled to be handed over a day before the set date.

FIFA originally demanded that all stadiums be put up by December last year, but delays in construction have led to moving the deadline to April 15.

However, the Brazilians have failed to meet even this deadline.
