Georgian Borjomi mineral waters were allowed to return to Russian market, Genadi Onishenko, head of Russian food safety watchdog told Russian ITAR-TASS news agency.
“Borjomi has been registered in Russian products’ register and allowed to enter the market,” he said.
Onishenko reminded that there were some delays connected with its registration as a group has been presented which registration was rejected.
Speaking about Georgian producers seeking to return to the Russian market, head of the watchdog said it is the third registered company, the other two are wine-making companies.
