Horse meat scandal involves Germany
Աշխարհ
A new spiral of the horse meat scandal in Europe has involved over 120 German companies, retail networks and butcher shops that bought beef from Dutch suppliers who are suspected of adding horse meat to their products, the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection reports.
A spokeswoman of the ministry says that now it is important to withdraw this meat from sale.
This information came on Wednesday after the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority announced recalling 50 tons of beef from European retail chains due to suspicions of its partial replacement with horse meat.
